Our 10 field technicians come from production backgrounds at BOC, Praxair and Amerigas:
Mike Duffy, Jr. worked in production and plant management with Amerigas and BOC for 18 years before joining RCI, where he has been since 1995. He has since been involved in plant relocations, start-ups and troubleshooting in the United States, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad, Honduras, El Salvador, Canada and Mexico. Mike’s duties also include control system design, configuration and commissioning.
Jim Bob Stroud has been with the company since 1988, after a career with Amerigas and BOC in operations and plant management. He has traveled the United States and the globe with stints in Turkey, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, China, Brazil, Peru and Venezuela on construction and start up assignments.
Joe Wackerman worked for many years with Praxair in plant operations, management and instrumentation. Joe has traveled to many plant locations as our instrument technician /operator including Peru, Canada and many U.S. locations. His 35+ years of experience is a real benefit for RCI and our clients.
Jim Gaddis serves as our on site construction/dismantling supervisor. Jims 40+ years in construction as an ironworker and construction superintendent provide RCI with an expert on heavy lifts and general construction. Jim has been involved in such high profile jobs as the building of the John Hancock building in Chicago and Disney World in Orlando, FL.
Trey Duffy is our Sales Manager and Project Coordinator. You can say Trey was born into the industry, spending Christmas and summer vacations watching Air Separation Plants being built since the late 1980's. Trey has been involved on many projects in the United States, Trinidad, and Mexico. Trey is also a member of the Young Executives Program (GAWDA).

John Fowler has been in the industrial gas business as an operator and plant manager capacity for over 30 years. During that time he has worked for Praxair and Air Liquide. John provides many years of experience in plant operations on on site gas plants or full merchant ASUs. Operator fill in and start up assistance are Johns specialties.
Roy Downs has worked in cryogenics for forty years. He has gone from operating a mobile two ton Cosmodyne plant in the Marine Corps, to consulting and training for the largest ASU in the world supplying a gasification unit for the Delaware City oil refinery. He has been an operator with USS, service technician with General Cryogenics, plant manager of merchant plant with Liquid Carbonic and general superintendent with responsibility for six ASUs, operations support (POST) for the United States, and consultant to Motiva/Premcor/Valero for a 2,750 ton facility with Praxair. He has been involved in several new plant installations and startups. Process and training is his specialty.
Fred Harwell comes to RCI after a 30+ year career with Parxair. From plant start-up, operations, to management, Fred is an industry veteran with a wide range of experience in cryogenics and ASUs.
Brandon Rohrer is RCI's newest addtion. He graduated from Linn State Technical College in 2010 with a degree in instrumentation and controls / nuclear technology. Brandon specializes in transmitters, PLCs, Valves, and plant electronics.
